Review : Seabrook, The Beach Town

Review : Seabrook, The Beach Town

We visited Seabrook in the third week of February this year ,our first vacation in 18 months since the pandemic. As promised in my post , here is a review of Seabrook from our holiday book.

*The town is strictly following the COVID-19 guidelines.*

It was the mesmerizing view of the pacific ocean and the endless beach on both sides that first attracted the founders Casey and Laura Roloff .Soon they set off to build one of its kind destination vacation rental, Seabrook.

Seabrook is a charming little beach town just north of Seattle situated along rugged coastline of central Washington coast .It has a old town feeling to it.The chic boutiques and neatly lined colonial houses and cockshell pathways are a feast for your eyes.

Designed specifically to be a walk-able town, everything here is just few minutes of walk away including the beach and downtown. We got around on foot, but if weather permits it would be great to bike around.

You can book your stay by choosing to rent a cottage, apartment or beachview facing houses from their official website.

Sitting on a bluff overlooking the Pacific ocean , the view from here is just breathtaking. Their walkways or as they like to call them the seabrook trails, all ultimately lead you to the mystic blue ocean.

Rustic wooden stairs take you down to the beach where you can fly kites, build sand castles, go clam digging or like us enjoy a quiet stroll.

Travel: Seabrook is about 140 miles from Seattle and took us about 3 hours in moderate traffic ,reaching just in time for our 4pm check-in.

Check-in: They provide contact free check-in. We got an SMS with the door code and necessary instructions so as to keep the interactions to minimum.

Our Cottage: Our cottage was called Bramble Berry named after owners business. The decor was stylish , bright and very much in line with the beach theme. The house was stocked up on board games, DVD’s and books. Our cottage boasts of privacy and rightly so, as the oversized kitchen deck opened up to a forest view and trails. If you listened carefully, you could hear the ocean ! The best part though was the attic turned playroom. The girls had crazy fun in the attic.

Grocery: Front Street Market is a premier grocery store with just basic necessities and huge array of drinks to select from.We went well prepared carrying most of our stuff from home. Ocean shores is close by and you can always pick grocery from there.

Shops: Sweet Life, is your ice cream and candy store that totally lives up to the hype of serving the best local cream around the area. We stuck to our favorites. Chocolate for Miss Curious and Vanilla for Miss Little and boy they were delicious.

Frontagers Pizza,We ordered the cheese pizza for kids and I took their famous Panzanella Salad. Thumbs up for both.

We visited this place during the mid winter break this year and fell in love with it instantly for the panoramic view of the ocean.I can’t wait to go back in summer and enjoy it in its full glory and visit their famous summer market.

Seabrook is a perfect getaway if you are looking for some peaceful relaxed time away from your daily hustle bustle.
