A lot happened! S was here! It will be sometime though, before I can get back to playing a full time nagging fighting and of course, loving wife! I was prepared for all that we have been planning over the phone, but now I am too sure!

While he was here
We were into eating eating and pretty much eating! Dude, I must’ve put on like oodles of weight! So much for all that sweating out (alright , i tried at least for a month!!) I dont get it, I just don’t! Why cant GOD just stop being unfair, I mean what does he have against me?? I hate the whole idea of size zero, one, two and whatever! I ain’t any closer to any of these sizes. I just hate this!! Well if this wasn’t enough I go ahead and get a haircut, YET AGAIN. Just before his Convocation. I am getting soo good at embarrassing myself. OH Boy!

Haircut
First week of his visit “Honey you look great!” Elated me
First day after haircut “Honey, dont worry its nice” sense the lie
Two days later ,after spending an hour in front of the mirror “You haven’t given me a compliment in last two days” loud wails. LOL (i am not joking here!)
A week later “Who am I kidding!” Seriously!

Convocation.
It was an experience. I looked HOT (Literally, I was sweating like a pig!)
Kolkata was well, ah,hmm… OK. Let me try n describe in 5 words

1. HUMID
2. HOT
3. SWEATY
4. Thinking hard…
5. I am running short of words here!

This time though in all that sweaty, humid hot experience I decided to look past all that put me off the last time. and guess what!! It wasn’t that bad at all. I loved the fish. YUM. Boss! I ate on a Thursday ( Never eat, hum bhaktan jo hai,lekin Kolkata ke liye bhi sacrifice kar diya:D).I needed more time, i would’ve loved to eat all that street food.Its a fine place,I guess I need just one more visit really to appreciate it the way others do.Explore those local markets, buy that typical bengali bangles(those red and white ones!)

The convocation was a nice experience. I had tears when they called out his name, It was like “Finally, a years long wait paid.We did it!’ It was really one those movie wala moment! Honestly it was a thoda dramatic he he he.

Finally!
Finally!He met all of them! Phew!! he he he.I am so glad that they all gelled just fine! I have been talking about each one in one or the other post, I am just gonna skip all the pleasantries! I have decided to not lie this year he he he he.

The eating,eating and eating all started with them! It started with Khansama with Garg’s,J & A, followed by pot luck at Bhasin’s.T hen there was La jawaab with the Garg’s followed by Barbeque nations with Garg’s and Ramal and 2 days ago again with the Bhasin’s at Toscano! Kolkatta happened somewhere in between, eating continued. Then there was Oye Amritsar, Pizza hut, Samarkand, The Village and Tunday’s Kabab! he he he I have not even counted the food court visits!! Beat that!
