The story of my Car & the Bus
I have been traveling in the bus for a week now( This is a big thing for me, read on).
Well, last week when Saurabh was around, we sort of met with an accident, the good thing is no one was hurt except our car(tears, it was sad sight!).Things happen, sometimes you just don’t have control over them, though for the first 10 mins we kinda blamed each other(we were sad! specially him)once we dropped it at the garage, both of us were quite ok with it( he was, I just followed him he he), I don’t know if all couples do that, but we didn’t really spoil our evening after all :).Honestly, It’s really difficult to with calm and composed in a situation like this, but then when you have someone who goes like“hota hai yaar, it’s just a car, we’ll get it all done. Lets not worry about that, lets enjoy our day”., you just cant be angry! I am really trying to get this attitude change in me ( I have sort of have, but I gotta a long way to go to reach where he is today 🙂 ).
Taking the city bus was an interesting, exciting, fun experience, something I seriously doubted it would be, till I actually took one.
I aint the kind to travel in city bus, the last, I traveled in one,was like 4 years ago(or so),when Anvita’s office was close to mine. I took the bus only if she was coming with me, else it was rick (for good 2 years), till I met him, and then, rick was kinda history too!
So, last week when I had to take the bus (rick was a bad option, there are not many offices close to ours that means I would have literally beg them every day, then haggl over the price, and at the end of the ride, I would be covered with dust and my mane would be all messed up, I really didn’t have much of choice), I was jittery. I had a talk with my SIL and roomy on how should I spot one, which one would take me straight to office, how long will I end up waiting, to how much does the ticket cost, to are you sure it’s ok to take one?. At the end of this conversation, my roomy says “Mein chalo kya aapke saath? Agar, aapko daar laag raha hain” LOL!. Well I was shit scared, it was like I was being asked to board this alien spaceship to work . Guess what? Alien spaceship was not that alien after all, the Volovs are really good, to add to it the crowd aint bad at all.For next four days I actually was looking forward to taking volvo to office :).
And then, there was this sweet li’ll incident, where I was offered lift to office by this stranger who spotted me on the bus stop, just added to the fun quota of the week.
All the walking to work from the bus stop (after being dropped at the closet stop) helped my cause of exercising.Evening’s were easier, my manager was sweet enough to drop me on her way back.
I enjoyed the experience soo much that I have decided to try and take bus to office at least once every month 🙂
Wait a sec, I still missed my car in all this fun and excitement!!
Guess she missed me too, and that is why the 10 day reduced to a week and just yesterday,I got a call from him that finally she was ready to be taken home.
She is back :)!
